Sneaky Pete Kleinow: You Are Here (1973)

Although Sean Lennon talked up John Lennon's Mind Games album when releasing the 2024 expanded box set with numerous mixes and such, it was – in its original form – a somewhat disappointing album with a few real nuggets and some filler.

But among the many discs in the reissue was an album called Elemental Mixes which were just certain parts of the songs isolated.

Among them was this lovely discovery, former Flying Burrito Brothers pedal steel guitarist Sneaky Pete Kleinow's part on You Are Here.

But in the original you had to listen hard to fully appreciate Kleinow's part.

So we offer it here.

Just lovely, even if you don't know the song.
